Project Description:
Hands on experience in the design, installation, and connectivity of computer systems, audio
visual and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT assets.
This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and
existing network hardware, software, audio visual hardware, and software and communication
links. This role is also responsible for telephone, data center, security systems and other
electronic infrastructure
Audio Visual Requirement, Installation, Deployment and Maintenance
1. Gathering the AV requirements for building training rooms,
conference rooms and big offices.
2. Design and build AV lay out with the matrix provided.
3. Prepare estimate for AV installation and proceed with RFQ.
4. Build and manage team of AV specialists, work with sub-contractors
for AV installation.
5. Provide wide range of AV Technical support.
6. Daily management of audio visual equipment while ensuring quality
and timely installation of new AV systems.
7. Employing conferencing technologies as needed for meetings and
client presentations.
8. Ensuring all scheduled projects were completed on time.
9. Developing standard operating procedures and policies for AV team.
10. Install and test Cisco Units for the corporate conference rooms.
11. Achieve the project objectives on time and to the specified cost,
quality and performance
IT Infrastructure Requirement, Installation, Deployment and Maintenance
1. Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make
certain network capacity meets existing and future requirements.
2. Practice network asset management, including maintenance of
network component inventory, life cycle management and related
documentation.
3. Establish service level agreements with end users.
4. Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote
hardware and software across the organization’s network.
5. Conduct research and make recommendations on network products,
services, protocols, and standards in support of network
procurement and development efforts.
6. Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and
other documentation for IT projects and associated efforts.
7. Assess, approve, and administer all equipment, hardware, and
software upgrades.
8. Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and
equipment, including routers, switches, UPS etc.
9. Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including
firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection
10. Ensure the deployment happens on the scheduled time with no
deviations and test the connectivity and share the closure report to
all stakeholders
Testing Network Performance
1. Test server performance and provide network performance statistics
and reports; develop strategies for maintaining server infrastructure
2. Test and ensure the audio visual components provide the expected
service
Skills& tools used for Job:
Managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs
Expert in service and application delivery and resolving performance issues
Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards, including Active Directory, Group
Policies, MS Exchange, Core Switching/Routing, etc.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, bridges, switches,
hubs, modems, network interface cards etc.
Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and
telecommunications principles.
Experience installing network cabling and telephony systems, cisco telepresence units, audio
visual switches and scalers
Provided AV support for 28 projects so far and maintained database for all AV works and
updates
Education Required :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering
